GREAT CHEAP PROJECTOR MOUNT+HOW TO INSTALL ON CEILING OR WALL | UNIVERSAL TUTORIAL DIY LED

Hi this is Ron from Ron’s Tron Tutorials. Today it is about this universal adjustable
projector mount. I will use it to mount my LED projector to
the wall. You can find a video on the projector on my
channel. The mount is made up of the 4 adjustable arms,
a telescopic rod and the mounting plate. First I screw all four arms on the projector. For this I use M5 screws. This holder can be used for almost all projector
models because the arms are freely adjustable in length and angle. Projectors with 3 screw points can also be
attached. Now I have fastened all 4 arms. The projector can be angled, tilted and pivoted
by this joint. Now I place the mounting plate. Both, ceiling and wall mounting is possible. I chose the wall because this way i can position
the projector centrally in front of the screen. Now it is important that the plate is placed
precisely according to the screen. I measure the exact center of the screen on
the opposite wall. Since the projector lens is not centered in
this device I measure the distance from the center of the lens to the center of the device. It is 10 cm. So the mounting plate on the wall must be
slid sideways by 10 cm, so that later the lens hangs in the middle of the screen. I measure the distances to the ceiling and
walls and use a water scale to level the plate. I draw the drill holes with a pencil and use
a simple impact power driver with a 6 mm stone drill to place the four holes. I also use a vacuum cleaner to suck the drilling
dust up. I use 6 mm wall plugs and the provided screws
to screw the bracket on. The mount, according to the manufacturer is
supposed to hold up to 55lbs. Now the included telescopic rod can simply
be mounted and fixed with 4 screws. This ensures a fully extended rod of 65 cm
or 24 inches. The prepared projector can now be easily attached
to the front and also fastened with 4 screws. The procedure is the same for the ceiling
mounting. After the projector is installed, the telescopic
rod can be precisely adjusted and secured with a screw. When all the screws are tightened, the bracket
is solid and doesn’t wobble. For under $30 you can get a solid universal
holder which is worth your money every time. I am satisfied with the result and look forward
to a relaxing movie night. And if, after some time, another projector
is to be installed, the mount can still be used. I hope this video helped you with the assembly. A product link to this bracket can be found
in the video description. Please leave a comment and I appreciate all
thumbs up. On my channel you can find many more useful
videos. Thank you and until next time, this is Ron

The link to the Amazon item in your description isn't the same item in your video–specifically the wall mount option isn't even in the instructions.

I would NEVER recommend using those cheap hole nylon mounts to your wall. . I would use butterfly nut system.
