Ok guys, check this out. Epson has loaned us this Epson Pro L1405U projector. L, I believe, standing for Laser. That’s right, this is a laser light source projector with 8,000 lumens output. I will say that this 8,000 lumen actually, on our 200-inch Slate here in the thunderdome looks more like 11 or 12,000 lumens And that is thanks to the 3-chip LCD proprietary technology that Epson has. What’s really cool about this, is that the laser has 20,000 hours of life. For my commercial friends out there the guys who are putting in display walls, video walls, and things like that, this is your best friend, on the planet. You can run this thing forever without having to do any maintenance at all. What else is really cool about going with projection verse a display wall or something like that is, that this is a single source. One install, one thing that you have to worry about, rather than a 6×6 or 12×12 or whatever, not distributing out to a complex system with multiple different displays and trying to color match each display to make sure they are correct. One source controls everything. This projector has 4k enhancement. I have this on a 200-inch screen. Standing 10-feet away from the screen, I can’t see any pixel structure. It’s that good. It really is that good. What else is really cool about this projector is the wide array of different lens options that Epson has made available to you which makes this projector really versatile and able to be placed in lots of different scenarios. One of those scenarios is actually Ultra-Short Throw This lens right here which is what we favorable call the “snorkel” lens which fits into the front in place of this lens and fires backwards This is actually perfectly suited for ultra-short throw screen called ST. So if you’re a commercial person, if you’re a house of worship, business, whatever your vertical may be, this is going to be a perfect solution for you. 8,000 laser lumens, as I like to call them on 3-chip LCD, consider the Epson L1405U projector for your next job.
