DIY Folding Mirror | Cheap Travel Mirror Gift Idea

(Country Music Playing) (Sound of Balloon deflating) Girl say’s “What the F?” I’m going to have
to reinvent you, which means you have to go (crowd cheering sound effect) (comedy bell
for idea rings sound effect) Who wants to make a DIY Mirror? I do I do. This thing is
going to be so much fun but you’re going to have to get your hands dirty, so let’s do
it! Using any handheld mirror, just go ahead and take a jigsaw, or any kind of saw and just cut that handle right off. You don’t have to be neat about it. Take an iPad case, but
you do want to make sure that it’s a kind that stands up both horizontally and vertically. Now, covering the front of that mirror with painter’s tape, you just want to go across
the front. Then use an Exacto knife to carefully go around the border, and it should look like
this. Then choose the color that you want popping through and go ahead and spray paint,
just the front. You don’t need to do the back. When it’s dry, pull that tape off. Then take
that sort of jagged side and slide that part down into the iPad case and then using whatever
closure your case has, slide it under your mirror, and……. Voila! You have this really
cute, lightweight, shatterproof mirror that you can use to do your make up either horizontally,
or vertically, so kind of depending on if you are traveling on a plane, or you are just
in a small dorm room and you don’t have a lot of counter space. It’s just fantastic.
You can slide it into your backpack or your purse. You can stick it on your shelf and
it doesn’t take up any extra room. So, who would want this tiny little compact mirror
when you could have this excellent little DIY project? Plus nobody else it going to
have it, but you because you did this project, so good for you! If you like this, please
